Then select the Layout tab. Note the selections on the bottom of this window are for two sided printing. Select the option Automatically with Duplexer. You can save this function as a preference by clicking the save button on the upper right. Saving the preference will make every print job with two or more pages print on the front and back of the . To finish up just click OK to continue through the next two windows and the printer takes care of the rest.

If your model of printer does not have a built in duplexer, you can select the Manual check button. Click OK to continue. The printer will print half of the pages and instruct you on how to turn over the pages to continue printing on the back side.

One question we often hear at the Kodak inkjet printer division is: How can I print on both sides of the ? This is a great idea that helps people save on printing costs and it is useful for lots of other printing projects as well. This is called duplexing and some Kodak printers can do this automatically. Models that have automatic duplexing capability include the ESP-7250, ESP-9250 and the ESP Office 6150. The Kodak printer driver software has provisions that allow manual duplexing for other printer models. Here is a quick tutorial that shows how duplexing or double-sided printing works. Lets say for example you want to print an information booklet. It would look good bound and printed on nice . You have completed your document on a word processor or desk top publishing application. Now how do you print it?

Another way to access a print properties dialog box is through the word processor from which you are printing your document. To do this have the document you want to print open in your word processor. Select print in a way that opens the printing dialog window. The screen captures illustrate how this looks with Windows XP. Click on Properties.

First consider printing this on heavier . This will make it less likely that what is printed will show through on the other side. It will also give a quality feel to what you have created. Kodak Ultimate Paper is a bright 24 lb that will give great results. Of course other brands of will work well too. It is important that they have a ColorLok ® logo on the packaging to give better image quality.

After you do this a few times, you may realize it really is pretty easy. Kodak inkjet printers are all about easy printing and great results.

Next you need to change the settings that govern how a document prints. You can do this by adjusting the printers properties. There are a couple of ways to do this. One way is to access the printer settings. Using Windows, click Start then go to Settings and then to Printers and Devices. Different versions have similar wording. Using akodak printers Double-sided Printing with Kodak Inkjet Printers Mac click System Preferences and then Print and Fax. These paths allow you to open a print properties dialog box.
